The boys just love freshly made fruit/vegetable smoothies. Then even ask for seconds.

One of my favorite presents my husband gave me.

What goes along great with a smoothie. You guessed it, lucky charms. The kids have spoons but they use there fingers to pick out the marshmallows.

But the know that if they don't eat all of the cereal that mommy won't buy that cereal again so they eat all of it.

On my vacation last week of November we decided to go to Fall Creek and go for a walk. The kids enjoy walking on the lake bed. They go to find treasures.

We walked with the Schwake's and my mom. We started at Splash, walked around springfield, and then finished at Splash.

The kids love to go to Jefferson to play at the park. So we decided to walk to the park, but the kids run when they are close.

I took Ben to Build A Bear when he was potty trained. We took Sammy to build A Bear because we are considering him potty trained. We only use pull ups on long outings, nap time, bed time. He usually doesn't pee pee in his pull ups when we are on outings but it just makes us safer.

Touch A Truck Event

My little boy Benjamin turned 4 years old today. He is getting so big. He is getting really good at helping Sam. He is even trying to break Sam of his binkie. He always takes it away so that he can talk. He was sad today when his cousin told him that he was too old to go into the ball pit at Papas Pizza. It says that you have to be 3 or younger to go in. So today he turned 4 so he was too big. He still played in the balls. I love him so much and don't know what I would do without him.

We had family friends that got married on New Years Eve. James was going to go with me but the boys came down with a pretty bad cold. Ben was so excited when he got Buzz Lightyear wings. We had to explain to him that they don't really fly. He wanted to fly to Albertsons when we went on a walk on Christmas. He was showing everyone in the store. They were really nice to listen to a 3 year old about his wings. It was really cute when a guy that had already seen them was with us on another isle and asked him to show him again. Ben was excited to show him again.

I have always loved Banana Bread and Ben loves banana bread also. My friend at work baked some for our Thankgiving Day Lunch at work on Wednesday. I said that I was going to have to take a piece home for Ben. She said that she had some mini loafs in her car and she would give one to Ben and Sam. They ate both of the loafs within a couple of days.

We had a small amount of snow the other day. I told myself that I would go into work late and stay to watch the kids play in the snow this year. I helping Ben get on his clothes to play in the snow. We didn't have any gloves that fit so we didn't stay out long. He said the one thing that he needed to do was make a snow angel.

Grandma and Grandpa Swenson came to visit us for a week. We spent some time at the coast when they were here. The kids had a lot of fun. Sammy would go to Grandma instead of us. We were glad that they could come.

Our little 3 1/2 year old lost his tooth. So we tried to explain about the tooth fairy. I don't know if we explained what the tooth fairy gives, but Ben was upset that the tooth fairy left money. He wanted a toothbrush. You will have to watch the video.

We went to the fair this week. Ben loved going on all the rides. We enjoyed watching all of the shows that they have there. It was nice getting out with the kids. We walked there everyday that we went.

Well I haven't been to WW in 1 month. I went today and lost 4 lbs for a total of 61.6lbs. I figured out that when I lose 6lbs more I will have lost the weight of my two boys put together. I am also more than 1/2 way there to my goal. Well I think my next mini goal will be to get the next 6lbs and then for a goal of losing 75lbs. Well thanks for all of your support.

Sam turned a year old, and we have been having Brenley take his pictures every month. It is sad to think that we won't be doing this next month. He is getting so big. He is over 25lbs. He is still crawling, and holding on to things when walking. I think that he will be a late walker like Benjamin. I really don't mind that. He was a little pill this day. He didn't want to stand up and he was just crawling away from us, but she got some good pictures. We will get some family pictures later this summer so I will have time to lose some more weight

Well this year will be a little different when celebrating the holiday's. My parents are living in Florida for a year while they are on there mission. We had Easter at Andrea's House and only some of the family was able to come but we had a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed hunting for eggs, eating dinner, and getting spoiled by there Aunt Andrea. They can't do anything wrong at her house. They really love going over there.

Ben started potty training a week ago. It is going better than I expected. We always have to ask him to use the potty, but he has only had 5 accidents in the last 8 days. One day he had two, but for 4 days he didn't have any accidents. He is really proud of himself. He had a problems going poop in the potty because he said that it is too hard for Ben. He is doing a little better with that now. He also sometimes wakes up with a dry diaper or pull-up. We are all just taking it one day at a time.

I have lost 10% of my total weight on WW.

I have been going to WW on Saturday's with some friends from work and my sister in law Chris. I have now lost over 25lbs and a total of more than 10% of my total weight. I have a lot to go but I will take it one step at a time. I appreciate all of the support from my family.

We stayed home with the kids for Valentines Day. I found this chicken at Albertson's that were shaped like a heart. I really thought they were cute. We had chicken salad. We did nice things for each other instead of buying gifts. James cleaned my car inside and out. I really like it. I made him Cowboy cookies that he wanted. It was a good Valentines Day.

Here are some pictures from Ben's 3rd Birthday Party. He loves motorcycles and I found a Mickey Motorcycle pack at Albertson's that they were wanting to get rid of. So the whole cake and the decorations only cost me around $20. I thought that was pretty good, and the whole cake was gone except 3 pieces. We had a combined birthday party for Ben and Lief. Lief and Ben have the same birthday and his mom and I work together. We thought it would be nice to have it combined because of inviting the same people from work. We had about 70 people there. It was one big party.

Ben, Nic, and Bennett meet in the NICU due to all of them being born premature. They all have done really good and are all 3 years old. It was hard to get them to look at the camera at the same time. Ben just wanted to kiss Nic all of the time.

The play groups when they were infants was so that the parents could get out of the house and eat. It is harder to get together because we all have another child around the same age again.

Bath time usually means that we have both kids in the bath. Benjamin never really got tub baths until he was over 1 year old. Sink baths or putting him the the shower was the easy way to get him clean. So Sam is really lucky that he has been getting baths for awhile. He really likes to splash around with Ben.

Before my mom and dad left for there mission I was able to get a picture of my kids with them. I have gotten 2 professional pictures with James parents. Since mom and dad have always been in town we have taken pictures when we go over there but nothing professional. I love my parents and are glad that they can be a great example to my children. The kids also love them so much.

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY BENJAMIN ANDREW

Our little boy had a hard start with being born premature at 29 weeks. It was really scary for us when they told us that Benjamin was going to be born today three years ago. My water had broke and they weren't going to be able to stop labor. My mom, dad, and James were there for me. We had a lot of prayers for me and little Benjamin that we would be taken care of during labor and that Benjamin would be as healthy as could be. He was born at 3lbs 3ozs. He was little but doing really well. After 42 days in the NICU we were able to take our little boy home. It was a great day for James and I. We love you so much little Benjamin and wish you a Happy Birthday.

He did really good with these pictures. It only took 20 minutes and she got over 30 pictures that looked really good. She cut the amount that she edited, but there were still 18 pictures that we got. I really like them. She does a wonderful job with him.

I believe that ben is allergic to Ken's Ranch Dressing. He broke out in a rash a couple of days ago after dinner. We thought he might be allergic to something, but we weren't sure what it was. He broke out in the same rash tonight. James put a dot of salad dressing on his check, and he broke out in the same rash. I will post a picture later.

Ben has been sleeping without his binkie for about a month. I listened to screaming, yelling, and kicking the wall when he was going to bed for a couple of days. He is doing great now. He doesn't like going to bed but when he does it is really easy for him to fall asleep now. When he finds Sam's binkie he puts it into the sink. I thought he would start trying to use Sam's but it really hasn't happened. Next we are going to try and potty train. I am waiting about another month. The doctor told us that boys usually potty train around 2.5 or 3. He will be 2.5 in July.

Mothers Day

We had alot of fun. We went to a park in a neighborhood. It was really nice because the kids were the only ones there. They could play on anything they wanted to. We got some pictures with the grandkids with their cousin that is closest in age. Samuel is the only one that doesn't have a cousin close to his age. We need to get someone to work on this.

Just to let everyone know that Benjamin is not using his binkie anymore. He really loved it and he had a hard time letting it go. He actually still sometimes asks for it when he goes to bed. I just remind him that he is a big boy and they are all gone. He probably doesn't understand because Sam has a binkie. It was really funny when he went to bed tonight. He wanted to give Sam a kiss but he had a binkie in his mouth. Benjamin pulled the binkie out of Sams mouth and kissed him on his lips and then gave him his binkie back. Benjamin also likes to put his finger in Sams binkie and let Sam bite his finger. He uses the ones from the hospital that has a whole in the center. Sam really likes you to put your finger in the whole to help him keep it in. Now our next task is to get Benjamin potty trained. Our doctor told us that most boys are potty trained at around 2.5 or 3. So we have a month before Ben turned 2 and a half. It is hard to believe that he is that old. He also did a load of laundry today. He put all of the clothes that were on the ground and put it into the washer and I put the soap in and started it. He has become a really big helper, and I think it helps that I give him change to put into his piggy bank for helping. He has also been caught trying to take money out of Grandmas wallet and mommy's wallet for change for his piggy bank.

Today I had an appointment for Samuel and he is 12lbs 7.5ozs at 2 months old. Just to let you know how well he is gaining weight most 2 month olds gain 2lbs 6ozs after birth in two months. Samuel gained 5lbs 11ozs in two months. I think that they told me that he was 23 inches long. I believe that he is going to be a big boy. He is smiling and laughing a lot. I will try and post pictures tomorrow. We took some pictures with just a diaper because it was 88 degrees in our house today. Lets just say that we are going to try to install the AC tomorrow.

Samuel John is 1 month old today. It is hard to believe that it has already been a month except for the lack of sleep. He sleeps pretty good.(4 or 5 hours but sometimes 3) I really can't complain. All the boys really love Samuel. Benjamins favorite thing to do is get right in his face and wave his hand and say hi to sam. It is really cute. I will post more pictures tomorrow. We just got back from Seaside yesterday. We stayed for two days at a resort on the beach. It was really nice to get away.
