Our Vacation May 2012- Part 1

We took a family Vacation in the middle of May. We drove to Az on a Thursday Night and drove all of the way through. We were in the car for 22 hours and the kids did a great job. We took some pictures of the view that we had on our way. You really get to see a ton when you travel by car.

Ben still sleeping in the morning.

Sammy woke up pretty early but he was happy so it was okay.

We got to see a helicopter land in a small airport as we were driving. The kids really enjoyed it.

The first in-and -out burger shop we found.

Las Vegas

A felony arrest in Las Vegas.

We noticed all of the nice art work along the freeway. I guess the Lottery
really helps out with the roads.

I was getting tired so I guess this is the only picture I took while coming into Az.

We arrived in Az at 5pm at night so after we had dinner it was time for the kids to get ready for bed. Grandma reading the kids a story.

The next day May 19, 2012 (Sat), We played around the house, park,
and walked in downtown Prescott.

Sammy had me laughing when he walked in through the rock in just is bare feet and went to a little patch of artificial grass. He was jumping and saying "I am jumping in the grass."

Sammy was mad because I
wouldn't
let him throw the rocks.

My Sammy!

The boys found some older girls that was nice enough to play with them. The kids were having a ton of fun with playing soccer.

Mr. Cool

We walked around the park and then into downtown Prescott

Love this!
Walking with Grandma
Daddy and Grandpa

Dad, Ben, Grandpa, Cody, Grandma, and Sammy

Grandpa and the kids reading a book.

A treat after a really hot day.

The kids really didn't watch t.v. when we were there. They did get to watch about 1/2 of a hour at night before they went to bed. Ben must have been really excited about his sleep bag to be inside of a sleeping bag with 80 degree weather.
