HE IS HERE!!

Samuel John McCluskey
"A GIFT FROM GOD"
He was born on March 29th @ 5:07am
He is 7lbs 6ozs and 18 1/2 inches long.
He came all on his own. I am lucky that I got to the hospital. The Doctor on call asked me if I wanted to be seen or do I want to wait at home and see if the contractions stop. I decided to go in and when they checked me when I arrived I was dialated to 7 or 8. Lets just say I am glad that they worked fast and got me my drugs. I will tell you more about it later and post pictures. If you look at my sister's blog (ANDREA) posted pictures of him. I just got home yesterday and I have alot of things to do, and find my camera.

My doctor took me off Bed Rest today. I will be 36weeks tomorrow. I am not able to go back to work or do any kind of house work. But I can go outside and walk or go shopping. It is a great day for me. Last Monday I was dialated to 1cm, but she said that alot of people at this stage are dialated to 1cm. He is looking good. I might find out a little more at my doctors appt on Monday. I will keep in touch.

Doctors Appt. for Baby #2

Dr Reilly said he is looking good. If I don't go into labor before March 30 or March 31 the doctor will induce me. I really didn't want another April Birthday. My family is really big and we have birthday's all over April. The only Birthday in March is Alia. She would be inducing at 38 weeks. She also said that I can go to my baby shower, and I am so happy about being able to get out and have some adult conversation. It is only a couple of days away. I will update on Ben. He is a big boy now!!! I wish he wore big boy pants.

BEING HOSPITALIZED WITH BABY #2

Last Tuesday, I had an ultrasound and everything looked alright. He is getting big. He weighs about 4lbs 12oz at 33 weeks gestation. On Wednesday, I started to have some complications and they wanted to keep an eye on me at the hospital. I got out of the hospital on Friday. I am on bed rest, but at least it is not a bad bed rest. I can sit up to watch t.v. I just can't take care of ben, go to work, or do any house work. I have a doctors appt. today. My baby shower is on Saturday and I am hoping that the doctor will let me go. All I would do is sit anyway just like I would at home. It gets really boring seeing the walls in your house all of the time, but it is what's best for the baby. I was 34 weeks on Sunday, and at 36 weeks most likely he wouldn't have to go the the NICU. I will update you more when I know more.

Baby #2 is 32 Weeks

Well we are just hanging in there. The baby is doing just great exept that the mommy wakes up every hour. I went to the doctors this last week. We are doing another ultrasound at the end of the month. She says that she will not let me go to the full 40 weeks. I am hoping to have him by the end of March. I think we have too many april bithdays. There is only one birthday in March and that is baby Alia.

Ben is 2 years old

Ben turned 2 years old on Jan 18. It is amazing how time goes by. Here our some pictures of him during the last couple of years. (for some reason the way I down loaded them they didn't go in order but I put the ages next to them) He goes in for his two year old visit tomorrow. He will love all of the shots. Corey visiting Ben in the hospital
Ben about 42 days old a couple days before he got released from the hospital

Ben 1 Year old

One of his first pictures. Born at 29weeks and only 3lbs 3oz. He was our pride and joy

Now he is two years old, and still our pride and joy.

Baby #2 is 30 Weeks

Most people aren't that excited about hitting 30 weeks when they are pregnant, but I had been at 29 weeks. I am happy that this little boy wants to stay in longer than his big brother. I am guessing that he is a little over 3 pounds, and about 16 inches long. I go in to the doctor in 10 days to find out how is doing, and hopefully it will be the same news as all of the other times. He is doing great.
